EliteInnerCircle ("we", "our", "Platform") is a private verified membership network for curated introductions and elite community networking. We are committed to protecting your privacy with the highest standards. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your personal data. This policy complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide during the application and onboarding process (name, email, date of birth, location, phone number, professional background), identity verification documents (government-issued photo ID, live selfie for biometric verification), profile content (photos, bio, preferences, interests), encrypted messages exchanged on the Platform, and usage data (login times, IP address, device type, browser fingerprint for fraud prevention).
3. Identity Verification Documents
Government IDs and selfies submitted for verification are handled with the highest level of confidentiality. They are accessible only to authorized moderation staff, used solely for identity verification purposes, and are not retained beyond the period necessary for the verification process. Documents are never shared with other members under any circumstances.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: process and manually review membership applications; verify identity and prevent fraud; facilitate professional networking connections between approved, verified members; enforce our Community Standards and Prohibited Activities Policy; send service communications (approval notifications, membership updates, security alerts); comply with legal obligations; and improve Platform security and integrity.
5. Payment Data
Membership payments are processed securely by Paddle, our payment infrastructure provider. EliteInnerCircle does not store your full card details. Paddle processes payments as a Merchant of Record and their privacy policy governs payment data. We retain transaction records (amount, date, plan type) for billing and legal compliance purposes only.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except: service providers who assist in Platform operation (under strict confidentiality agreements); law enforcement when required by valid legal process, court order, or applicable law; and to protect the safety of our members or the public in cases of credible risk.
7. Privacy Modes
EliteInnerCircle offers Standard, Discreet, and Invisible (Black tier) privacy modes. These controls govern your visibility within the verified member community. In Invisible mode, your profile is not shown in any discovery feed. Regardless of your privacy mode, your data is processed as described in this policy.
8. Message Retention
Messages are subject to auto-delete timers as configured by members (24, 48, or 72 hours). Flagged messages may be retained for moderation review purposes. We are not responsible for content retained by other members outside the Platform.
9. Security
We employ industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption for messages, encryption at rest and in transit for stored data, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to maintain strong account security practices including a strong, unique password.
10. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account termination or approved deletion request, personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of processing, except where retention is required by applicable law (e.g., financial records under GST regulations or fraud prevention obligations).
11. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023 (India)
As a Data Principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights: (a) Right to access information about your personal data being processed; (b) Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) Right to erasure (deletion) of your personal data where it is no longer necessary; (d) Right to grievance redressal — we will respond within 30 days; (e) Right to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. 12. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data directly from the Settings page. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Upon deletion, your profile, photos, messages, and personal data will be permanently erased. Active membership fees are non-refundable upon voluntary deletion, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
13. Cookies
We use essential cookies and session tokens to maintain account security and Platform functionality. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
14. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023 and IT Act 2000, our Grievance Officer can be contacted at:

15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
